Job Summary

A consumer electronics and technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Data Center and Infrastructure Server Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Architecting, designing, implementing, and testing hardware and software globally
• Taking responsibility and ownership of the corporate VMware infrastructure
• Leading the team with the integration and testing of new technologies, and upgrading existing infrastructure

Required Skills:

• Expert knowledge working with ESXi including cost optimization, performance tuning and DR solutions
• Expert knowledge of VMware ESXi, vSphere, SRM, vRealize including migration and consolidation
• Bachelor's Degree/Bachelor's Seeking with Technical Competencies and 8 years of industry experience OR 10 years of industry experience
• Knowledge of server hardware, storage arrays, etc
• Experience planning and executing hardware upgrades across a global landscape
• Global experience designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting AD, DNS, DHCP
