Job Summary

A digital automotive marketplace has a current position open for a Remote Senior Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring and supporting data pipelines to honor internal and external SLA's
  • Building complex workflows and orchestrate data dependencies
  • Working with a team of engineers where mentorship is valued

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2+ years of experience in Big Data technologies
  • 5+ years of experience programming in Java
  • Experience in any of big data technologies: MapReduce, Spark, HBase
  • Experience working with Cloudera/Hortonworks/EMR distribution in AWS
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases
  • Bachelor degree (or Master) in Computer Science or related engineering field
