Job Summary

A marketing solutions company is seeking a Remote Senior Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing software design and development with Scala and Java
  • Designing and building data pipelines
  • Applying experience with cloud computing for data pipelines (AWS and/or GCP)

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2+ years of experience in productionizing and deploying ML models as well-tested Python-based services
  • Four year degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience architecting, building and deploying scalable data pipelines into AWS cloud using EKS
  • Strong Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker containers, and other microservice technologies
  • Experience with event streaming with modern event streaming tooling like Pulsar, Kafka, Kinesis
  • Experience with developer-facing products like APIs and Database objects
