Job Summary
A computer software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Data Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Scaling our database, data warehouse, and internal infrastructure to handle a growing customer base
- Developing new techniques to uncover or mine data to predict future or current trends
- Co-owing the delivery of a product that transforms the construction industry
Position Requirements Include:
- Knowledge of AWS data technologies such as Aurora, SQS, RDS, S3, and other common services
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience with data warehousing with platforms such as Redshift or Snowflake
- Experience developing software with object-oriented languages as part of an engineering team
- Database scaling, indexing, migrations, and optimizations knowledge
- Knowledge of data modeling, data mining, ETL, and segmentation techniques
