Job Summary

A venture capital and private equity firm is seeking a Remote Senior Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Create data-driven solutions for reporting
  • Produce unified interfaces to business objects
  • Build bridges from legacy data systems into our more modern systems

Qualifications Include:

  • 5 plus years of software dev & strong SDLC skills
  • 3 plus years as a dba or data engineer (can be concurrent with software dev years)
  • 3 plus years designing and developing APIs
  • Experience with AWS products and pros/cons of their storage, compute, & DB options
  • Exposure to retail and shopping applications and vocabulary
  • Fluent most flavors of SQL
