Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Senior Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build efficient and scalable ETL processes
  • Create and automate our data ingestion
  • Generate infrastructure

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. RDS, PostGreSQL)
  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, or other pipeline tools
  • Knowledge on how to build for scale vs. building for now
  • Technical foresight, anticipating the needs of our emerging tech stack
