Job Summary
A non profit organization is in need of a Remote Senior Data Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that support automated and efficient reporting for end-users
- Prepare complex database queries to support research and advocacy initiatives
- Oversee data harvesting projects with external partners
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Excellent attention to detail and concern for data quality
- Proactive in surfacing problems and finding solutions
- Proficiency with Python or similar programming languages
- Proficiency with database query languages (e.g., SQL)
- Demonstrated experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
