Job Summary
A social networking app has an open position for a Remote Senior Data Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 12+ Data Engineers and Data Scientists in Analytics
- Operate the Data Desk within an SLA for triaging data questions
- Motivate the team to ensure data quality, monitoring and alerting is top-notch

- Agile focused leadership and management style
- Prior VP or Director of Engineering experience looking for a mission-driven team to lead
- Previous business experience working with customers around data-centric processes and analysis
- Experience with Data Quality and Governance tools
- Familiarity with legal compliance data classification, and retention
