Job Summary

An IT company has an open position for a Remote Senior Data Platform Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Contributing to the detailed designs of our analytics platform
  • Serving as a senior engineer for the data analytics team; assisting in scoping work for engineers, reviewing code, and validating designs
  • Analyzing, solving, and correcting issues, providing system monitoring and problem resolution, evaluating new technologies and tools

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with Python and SQL
  • Experience with stream processing (Kafka, Kinesis)
  • Experience with data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Experience with workflow management systems (Airflow, Luigi, Prefect)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (such as Alooma, Stitch, Fivetran)
  • Exposure to managing BI solutions (Looker, Tableau, Sisense)
