Job Summary

A consumer electronics company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Data Platform Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing frameworks, tools and processes for reliably ingesting and processing vast amounts of data
  • Optimizing data ingestion, storage and processing architecture to meet product, business and performance needs

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working in data engineering, business intelligence or related field
  • Experience with streaming and batch data processing frameworks
  • Demonstrated strength in data lake architecture, data storage strategies, data governance and relational database concepts
