Job Summary

A software solutions company has an open position for a Remote Senior Data Platform Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing scalable, robust, and fully-tested software
  • Learning and contributing to all aspects of the data platform
  • Creating and improving tooling and processes

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience building scalable systems and architectures
  • Experience with database performance tuning
  • Experience leading projects from inception through deployment, maintenance, and support
  • Experience with relational databases and non-relational databases like MongoDB
  • 5+ years of software development experience using Java or similar object-oriented languages for backend development
