Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Remote Senior Data Privacy Counsel.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing legal advice on privacy matters consistent with state, federal, and international privacy laws
- Ensuring Privacy By Design requirements are embedded in products, services, and business arrangements
- Overseeing privacy incident management and communications in coordination with compliance analyst
Position Requirements Include:
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; membership in good standing in at least one state bar
- 6+ years of experience in a health technology company or advising health technology clients in a law firm setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate legal and regulatory requirements
- Practical, business-oriented approach when assessing legal risk
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills and very strong follow through on accountability
