An online media company that is focused on unbiased news reporting is filling a position for a Remote Senior Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating and selecting appropriate datasets for both supervised and unsupervised machine learning problems
• Finding and implementing the best methodological approaches and tools
• Developing transparent metrics to understand and monitor model performance

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent programming skills in Python/SQL
• Comfortable with Jupyter Notebooks, and experience with machine learning frameworks
• Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation and semantic extraction
• Highly analytical with solid experience in analysis, math and statistics
