Job Summary
An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Senior Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing existing and emerging risks
- Following written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities
- Building large and complex information sets
Position Requirements Include:
- MA degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or related or
- 12 yrs total experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of experience in predictive modeling, large data analysis and computer science with MA degree
- Experience in stochastic modeling, machine learning, and other advanced mathematical techniques
- Solid experience in at least one compiled language and one dynamic scripting language
- Experience in data mining and statistical analysis
