Job Summary
A tire and rubber company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building and validating predictive models of a known issue with some assistance
- Using data science techniques to create data-driven solutions for various business use-cases
- Developing a minimal viable product to meet business needs while resolving any issues that may arise
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Master's in a quantitative field and 2-3 years of data science experience or bachelor's and 3-5 years experience
- Experience in manufacturing, retail operations, new product development, supply chain or marketing research
- Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources
- Basic proficiency in Machine Learning
- 2 years of python programming experience
- Prior experience participating in projects using common project management methodologies
