Job Summary

An information technology consumer products company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Database Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Establishing and implementing performance monitoring metrics for databases
• Optimizing by writing custom scripts to automate various daily DBA operations
• Reviewing and working with software developers to generate code into the test/staging/production system

Qualifications for this position include:

• 10 years of extensive experience in Microsoft SQL Server
• 5 years in technical, database related roles with administrator experience
• 5 years of experience with MySQL
• 5 years of experience in data warehousing or other data reporting tool experience
• SQL and relational DBMS knowledge, including data modeling and ERD
• Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
