Job Summary

A management and technology consulting firm is in need of a Remote Senior Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze the design, implementation, and management of databases and data delivery systems
  • Leverage expertise in database design and implementation tools
  • Leverage expertise in structured and unstructured data, streaming and batch data processing

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Database Administrator on Amazon Web Services (AWS) databases technologies
  • Experience with the PostgreSQL Database technology
  • Experience migrating on-premise database technologies to AWS
  • Experience with optimizing database throughput and concurrency
  • Experience with backing up and restoring databases
  • Experience with database identity and access management
