Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Database Administrator.

Must be able to:

  • Monitor and tune production databases
  • Provide 24/7 support for a variety of production databases
  • Prepare project work plans and project time and cost estimates for the manager's review/approval

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • 8-10 years database administration experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Oracle 11g and 12c, 19C
  • Experience with SQL Server database administration, database maintenance, replication, log shipping, etc
  • Experience in implementing operation automation using scripts such as KRON and PowerShell and Python
  • Experience with  VLDB and HA techniques
