Job Summary

A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Database Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Owning several large, mission- critical, traditional and non-traditional databases
  • Leading and implementing regular hardware, OS, and software maintenance efforts
  • Leading the regular assessment of data hygiene of various databases

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience administering both traditional SQL and NoSQL databases at scale and high 9’s
  • highly proficient at scripting and automating in at least one language
  • Skills to work with Data Architects, and Software Development Engineers alike
  • Interest and awareness of current and future trends in the database realm
