Job Summary
A technology consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Senior Database Administrator Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work as a DBA for multiple customers
- Manage multiple long-term database projects
- Provide cost effective Azure platforms
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s in computer, engineering, data science or a related field; or equivalent experience
- Able to produce high-quality documentation
- have multiple years working with a major RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Have done a few databases migration from different cloud platform/or on-prem to Azure
- Moderate experience with OS clustering concepts and technologies
- Understanding of security roles and how to implement database security
