Job Summary
A benefits management solutions provider is seeking a Remote Senior Database Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing high priority application software and infrastructure covering database design, epic, feature and story development, re-usable code, components and application functionality
- Working with senior engineers and architects to define the application architecture and create software design for key elements of the application
- Evaluating performance of key elements of the application functionality and tunes the performance to cover the range of customer use
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar
- Possess applicable licensing, certification, and registration
- A minimum of five years' experience in database engineering using Oracle
- In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL/SQL
- Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture
- Sound knowledge of best practices in database engineering and data security.
