Job Summary

A provider of communication and network infrastructure services has a current position open for a Remote Senior Database Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining database structures
  • Performing internal QA checks to insure high quality deliverables
  • Migrating applications and data throughout the development cycle

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field required, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years software engineering / development experience in Java on Linux
  • Experience working on agile software development teams
  • Strong understanding of High Availability engineering using load balancing
  • RDBMS technology familiarity with Oracle 11/12,18,19, Oracle ASM/ACFS, and Informix v12/v14,
  • Familiarity with Virtual Machine architectures, VMWare and Amazon Web Services
