Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Remote Senior Database Engineering Manager in Oakland.

Must be able to:

  • Manage and grow a team of database engineers across multiple products
  • Improve or define processes around alert escalation and on-call rotation
  • Initiate large, complex projects

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • 5 years of experience managing database engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to remove one's own roadblocks
  • Exceptional engineering skills and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications
  • Proven experience on Requirement/Design/Code Review best practices
  • Experience with agile software development
