Job Summary
A software-as-a-service technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior DevOps Developer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Sharing responsibility for the health, scalability, and availability of our cloud services
- Ensuring cloud architecture meets scalability, availability, and cost requirements
- Mentoring team members on good operational practices
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years experience managing cloud infrastructure
- Experience with setting up databases and message brokering systems
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, specifically within website, application servers, network, and databases
- Solid networking knowledge and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell, Go)
- Prior vendor management experience for tools and systems related to infrastructure
