Job Summary

A telecommunications company has a current position open for a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Act as technical consultant within and outside assigned department in area of expertise
  • Evaluate, design, develop, test and implement all components, equipment, and software
  • Provide technical leadership and direction in area of expertise for engineering staff

Position Requirements Include:

  • College degree and 3-5 years experience or 7 + years equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience or a combination
  • Expert knowledge of operating systems including Linux, Unix, and Windows
  • Expert understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies
  • Expert knowledge of provider network protocols
  • Experience with and Key/Value stores and NoSQL and RDBMS
  • In depth understanding of coding languages and scripting languages
