Job Summary

A peer-to-peer marketplace needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Support and maintain production and non-production environments based on Docker and Kubernetes
  • Support the team's efforts to break up our monolithic PHP application into services
  • Assist in system upgrades which require changes to the code base

Required Skills:

  • Four or more years of professional work experience writing backend code
  • Two or more years of professional experience as a DevOps engineer, SRE, or systems engineer
  • The ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design
  • Strong knowledge of Linux command line tools and shell scripting
  • A mastery of Python or similar programming language
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
