Job Summary
A software-as-a-service development company is seeking a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing tooling to enable product development teams to build and deploy software as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Partnering with other engineers to identify the optimal cloud infrastructure, networking and storage design for each solution
- Owning all information compliance and security policies, SOC II testing, and remediation
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years experience operating large-scale customer-facing production environments with a focus on uptime and service quality
- Deep proficiency working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
- Proven strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gruntwork)
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Configuration Automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
- Familiarity in implementing a successful CI/CD workflow across different teams’ needs (GitHub Actions, TravisCI, Jenkins, CodePipeline)
- Experience with Linux operating systems internals and administration
