Job Summary

A cloud solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Actively supporting efforts to simplify and enhance development, testing, and production environments
  • Conducting or even leading design sessions with appropriate participation from peers
  • Troubleshooting environment issues and outages bringing swift resolution in each case

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years experience in a DevOps or relevant position
  • One or more Web and Application Server technologies (e.g. Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx)
  • One or more scripting language (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
  • Programming language experience (e.g. PHP, JavaScript, node.js)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering
