Remote Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A cloud solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior DevOps Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Actively supporting efforts to simplify and enhance development, testing, and production environments
- Conducting or even leading design sessions with appropriate participation from peers
- Troubleshooting environment issues and outages bringing swift resolution in each case
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years experience in a DevOps or relevant position
- One or more Web and Application Server technologies (e.g. Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx)
- One or more scripting language (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
- Programming language experience (e.g. PHP, JavaScript, node.js)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering
