Job Summary

A recruitment firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior DevOps Platform Engineer in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Help accelerate our engineering team as we deploy frequently to production for 100+ services
• Help create systems, tools, and practices so that we can scale with increasing confidence
• Try to solve them with creative, elegant, and simple solutions

Required Skills:

• Professional experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems at large-scale in an AWS environment
• Use existing commercial and open source tools to create a robust, reliable, and performant platform
• Able to determine when these tools are insufficient and decide when it's time to write our own
• Excited by big, complicated problems and try to solve them with creative, elegant, and simple solutions
• Communicate the problems and their solutions to other engineers as well as a less technical audience
• All other requirements necessary for this position
