Job Summary

A technology company is in need of a Remote Senior Ecommerce Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications
• Leveraging and building cloud based systems and integrations
• Defining, implementing and enhancing our Ecommerce platform

Qualifications Include:

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
• Ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, scaling horizontally
• Recent experience with Ecommerce, payment processing, or billing systems
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges
• Deep understand multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies
