Job Summary
A home improvement products manufacturer is filling a position for a Remote Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building and updating with the latest architecture and embedded software
- Taking lead on all embedded software-based engineering efforts
- Providing technical leadership on multi-functional teams and contractors
Position Requirements Include:
- 5-10 years of proven experience in new product development, R&D, sustaining or other relevant field
- An engineering or computer science bachelor's degree, or equivalent
- Experience with HTTP APIs, RESTful services, & JSON databases
- Proficient with C and/or C++ languages. Nice to understand .NET (C#) and other languages
- Familiarity of low power embedded designs and communication protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, and USB
- Experience working with designs including Capacitive touch, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and/or Thread
