Job Summary
A consumer-based financial advising company is in need of a Remote Senior Employment Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide practical, actionable advice on employment matters
- Work cross-functionally to help build and implement scalable employment policies and programs
- Work with HR Business Partners to handle and support employee issues and internal investigations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including a combination of both in-house and law firm practice at a major law firm
- Demonstrated sound and practical judgment, personal integrity, and discretion regarding confidential matters
- Deep knowledge of California and/or New York employment laws and applicable federal laws
