Job Summary

An energy consulting company has an open position for a Remote Senior Energy Resource Planning Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Input data gathering for the models
  • Review applicable energy and fuel contracts
  • Review and incorporate load forecasts

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy industry
  • 3+ years of experience in production cost modeling with PLEXOS and/or PROMOD
  • Basic knowledge of PPAs and U.S. power markets
  • General knowledge of various power generation types and their capital costs
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
