Job Summary
An academic publishing company is seeking a Remote Senior English Learner and English Language Arts Content Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working in cross-functional teams to help define content
- Generating and reviewing sample content and instructional language
- Providing recommendations for solutions to small-to-medium editorial/ project challenges
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of experience writing and/or editing lessons and reading passages, and crafting scope and sequences
- Experience creating instructional support pieces at a school district, and/or publisher
- Experience giving clear feedback to writers and editors during a digital lesson writing process
- Solid understanding of reading domains
- Some experience working with cross-functional team members
- Working knowledge about instructional content development for target audience (K-2, 3-5, or 6-8 grade bands)
