Job Summary
A global travel and hospitality company operating hotels, luxury resorts, and other lodging facilities has a current position open for a Remote Senior Enterprise Platforms Systems Engineer in Bethesda.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems and cloud technologies
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in a complex array of full stack solutions
- Perform research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of systems to meet current and future requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification
- 7+ years experience in information technology with technical skills
- 5+ years Linux experience
- 5+ years experience in Database: Relational (Oracle, DB2, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and/or MSSQL Server), non-relational (Cassandra, Couchbase, and/or MongoDB)
- 5+ years experience in OS scripting and automation
