Job Summary
A financial services provider has a current position open for a Remote Senior Finance Associate.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assistign all reporting processes including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements
- Helping build out company’s financial infrastructure to increase automation and reduce risk of errors
- Supporting the VP of Finance and the Controller in preparing for any future fundraising processes, M&A activities, due diligence, and the company’s financial strategic initiatives
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- CPA designation with 3-4 years of full-cycle accounting experience at a financial services, technology, or fintech company
- Extensive knowledge about US GAAP and IFRS requirements
- Ability to execute on challenging tasks and can take the lead on projects from start to finish
- Proven analytical mindset that loves working with numbers
- Previous experience working with Sage Intacct (considered an asset)
- Ability to ensure financial records are maintained and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
