Job Summary
A non-profit wildlife protection organization has an open position for a Remote Senior Finance Associate in New York City.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Being responsible for the integrity of financial data for assigned company departments
- Mastering our chart of accounts & providing executive assistants, program managers & other users with consistent, accurate guidance
- Serving as a first reviewer for invoices & staff reimbursements for assigned departments to ensure proper coding
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years financial/accounting experience in a nonprofit organization
- 3+ years experience working with diverse funding sources, including public funding, a must
- Direct experience in payment processing required
