Job Summary
This position will support operational and financial aspects of the organization by providing data, analysis, and insight. Central to this role is the partnership with the International Expansion team. The right person for this role will be tenacious, inquisitive, and extremely analytical. They must be able to manage competing priorities while remaining agile, and above all, able to hit the ground running.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with the International Expansion team, providing analysis, reporting, and dashboards, aligning with OKR goals. This includes providing key metrics and analyses, such as:
Pro-forma modeling for new potential teams and/or brokerages, accounting for unique nuances that may exist for each country, in terms of real estate brokerage structure, pay plans, etc.
Monthly reporting, including transaction and agent tracking, revenue forecasting, OPEX tracking and analysis, and cash flow forecasting
Contributing to the monthly rolling forecast for the International entities
Hold monthly meetings with business partners for financial (budget vs. actual) reviews.
Build, maintain, and automate complex and dynamic financial models to provide data-driven, actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement potential operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Other ad-hoc duties, as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years of professional work experience related to key responsibilities outlined above
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or closely related disciplines
Skills & Abilities:
5+ years of relevant experience in a Finance department, including financial modeling and budgeting/forecasting for an International business unit.
Advanced Excel, including complex/nested formulas.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
Tenacious personality; someone who is not afraid to ask the hard questions.
Foreign language proficiency a plus
