Remote Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A financial services and insurance agency has an open position for a Remote Senior Financial Analyst.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Teaching and mentoring others in executing simple to moderately complex financial processes and analysis
• Using financial principles to solve complex business problems while performing forecasting, planning, and financial modeling related to income, profitability, liquidity, capital, leverage, asset and liability management or operating expense
• Identifying and managing existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• If Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 6 years’ related experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects OR If Master’s degree, a minimum of 4 years’ financial/accounting analysis or related work experience
• Proven ability to use financial principles to solve complex business problems
• Ability to contribute to achievement of business goals and objectives
• Ability to lead product assignments, product pricing, product profitability and ad-hoc analysis
• Ability to acquire and apply advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes and serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues
