Remote Senior Financial and Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

A health services company is seeking a Remote Senior Financial and Accounting Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Owning primary oversight of one or more state Medicaid health plan core financial statements
• Reconciling, analyzing and reviewing general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close cycles
• Acting as liaison with core business partners within the organization for assigned health plans

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and / or relevant accounting experience
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Experience working with general ledger / sub-ledger accounting applications
• Solid understanding and practical application of U.S. GAAP
• Intermediate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications
