Job Summary
A health services company is seeking a Remote Senior Financial and Accounting Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Owning primary oversight of one or more state Medicaid health plan core financial statements
- Reconciling, analyzing and reviewing general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close cycles
- Acting as liaison with core business partners within the organization for assigned health plans
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and / or relevant accounting experience
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Experience working with general ledger / sub-ledger accounting applications
- Solid understanding and practical application of U.S. GAAP
- Intermediate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications
