Job Summary
A financial services and technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Financial Connect Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Write and maintain data schema and API documentation
- Influence and introduce new engineering standards, tooling, and processes that help the team scale
- Direct influence on user experience by building and maintaining APIs that power our user-facing applications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer working on and building data infrastructure and ETL pipelines
- Experience with designing and maintaining complex data schemas and data mapping strategies
- Highly proficient in Python
- Experience with databases and various storage solutions (e.g. Postgres, S3 or similar)
- Experience with data automation and ETL (e.g. Kubernetes, Terraform, and Airflow)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
