Job Summary
A Fortune 500 company offering a range of financial services and solutions is in need of a Remote Senior Financial Group Protection Valuation Actuary Associate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supervising an actuarial student primarily focused on Group Life reserve production and analysis
- Partnering with Assumptions and Reserve Strategy team to improve data processes and ensure consistency of source data
- Integrating existing risk results reporting and analysis tools into a consistent, holistic platform accessible by stakeholders across GP
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or
- Another quantitative major
- 4 – 7+ years of experience in actuarial science that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- Ability to supervise an actuarial student primarily focused on Group Life reserve production and analysis
- Ability to identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team
- Ability to serve as a key point of contact with Claims Management leadership
