Job Summary

A construction services company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Fire Protection Designer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction documents that include drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Design and lay out fire sprinkler systems for complex buildings utilizing CAD and/or AutoSprink software
  • Participate in the BIM/CAD environment and maintains all related fire sprinkler supporting documents

Required Skills:

  • Fire sprinkler layout and design experience; a minimum of five (5) years
  • Ability to read blue prints, schematics, drawings, specifications and technical material
  • Knowledge of applicable codes
  • Knowledge of building systems and applications required
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel and Outlook
