Job Summary
A computer software company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Front End Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Provide technical expertise and mentor to associate level team members and help to define and drive best practices across the division
- Use development techniques to optimize software across a vast array of devices and browsers while able to discuss the trade-offs between different techniques
- Oversee the development and maintenance of reusable components and front-end libraries for use by product teams
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 5 or more years, of hands on development experience
- Highly proficient in JavaScript / ES6 and the Document Object Model
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack and NPM
- Highly proficient with version control systems, especially GIT
- Experience using and implementing RESTful APIs
