Job Summary

An information technology software company is in need of a Remote Senior Front End Platform Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Coaching and mentoring team members on frontend software engineering activities and best practices
  • Leading discussions on complex technical concepts and requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Communicating with UI/UX, product, architects and engineers to analyze and suggest efficient solutions based on requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience designing and implementing architecture for a large web application
  • 5+ years of front-end web development experience
  • Experience with Javascript design patterns, data structures, architecture, and how to apply tech designs to pragmatic solutions
  • Strong knowledge of React and React hooks
  • Strong knowledge of CSS with working knowledge of CSS-in-JS
  • Comfortable with testing tools such as Jest, testing-library for unit testing as well as E2E testing, such as Cypress and/or Selenium
