Remote Senior Frontend Engineer
Job Summary
A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Frontend Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Owning feature delivery from ideation to implementation with the support of our Head of Engineering
- Transitioning our current JSP and Struts framework to a modern javascript framework like React
- Building UI wireframes and prototypes for proposed features to facilitate collaboration around design
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS, MS, or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years software design and development experience
- Experience developing against large Java web-based and OO applications
- Familiar with Java Servlets and Java Server Pages
- Proficiency with Java or an equivalent OOP language
- Experience with code bundling technologies such as Webpack or Gulp
