Job Summary

A education technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Investigating and developing new projects and initiatives
  • Contributing to discussions around new ideas and improvements to existing products
  • Creating compelling analyses, and estimate solutions to problems involving unknowns

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years of experience working on large scale distributed systems
  • Familiarity working within a SCRUM / Agile team environment
  • Experienced with modern back-end service frameworks (specifically Django)
  • Experienced with continuous integration and unit-testing (Jenkins / CircleCI / Bamboo / Gitlab)
  • Experienced with benchmarking and performance optimizations (Python)
  • Adaptable and capable of diving head-first into unfamiliar APIs and technology stacks without documentation
