Job Summary
A social media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Game Designer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with other developers to create gameplay from conception to implementation to ship
- Designing, prototyping, analyzing, iterating, and balancing diverse gameplay systems
- Planning and specifying progression and tuning values
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years experience as a game designer
- A history that includes shipping at least one title in a game design role
- Experience prioritizing feedback from leads, peers, and playtesters to improve gameplay
- Experience communicating with collaborators across multiple disciplines
- Up-to-date knowledge of game mechanics in the current highest-rated titles
- Experience analyzing best practices and specifying gameplay systems
