Job Summary
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Gateways Networking Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design and build highly efficient micro-services to enable new features
- Dive deep into the ocean of highly available and fault-tolerant virtual networking
- Use technologies and tools such as: Linux, Go, Open vSwitch, Prometheus, Ansible, Chef, MySQL
Required Skills:
- Expertise with at least two of the following languages: Go, Python, C/C++, Ansible, Chef
- Expertise building distributed systems using a microservices architecture
- Knowledge of networking and network layers
- Understanding of flexible and scalable datacenter technologies, like VxLan/STT, MPLS, EVPN, DPDK, OVS/OVN
- Ability to self-organize and clearly communicate intent
