Job Summary

A software development company is seeking a Remote Senior Geoprocessing Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Develop web applications and data management strategies for large-scale deployment and management in the Homeland Security community
  • Rapidly prototype web applications to showcase new concepts and ideas
  • Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be on location in Washington, D.C.
  • A minimum of two years with enterprise GIS software development
  • Knowledge of and experience developing web services using RESTful APIs, XML or JSON
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
  • US citizenship
  • Ability obtain a clearance is a must
